In order to promote effective knowledge exchange with regard to critical ideas and experiences, the International Association for Mediterranean Forests (AIFM) since its foundation in 1996, based on a cross-field and multidisciplinary approach, works, inter alia, for the development of decentralized cooperative initiatives.
